Google Antigravity connector (MCP)

Build live streaming, video hosting and embeddable players into the sites and platforms you write in Google Antigravity. The DCAST connector is a remote MCP server at https://api.dcast.pro/mcp: the Antigravity agent works with your own DCAST account with the access of your API key, creates streams and uploads, takes embed codes from DCAST and can find and call any documented Partner API operation while it writes your integration. DCAST hosts, transcodes and delivers the video you send it; it does not generate video. Payments are never available.

What you need

  • A DCAST account at dcast.pro. Every plan can connect, including the free one. What the agent can do follows your plan exactly as on the website and in the API: storage, streaming hours and features.
  • Google Antigravity on your computer.

Add DCAST to Antigravity

  1. Create a Partner API key in your DCAST account under API keys. Choose the access level the agent needs: read only to look, standard to create and change as well, full to delete as well.
  2. In Antigravity, open the … menu at the top of the agent panel, choose MCP Servers, then Manage MCP Servers and View raw config. Antigravity opens mcp_config.json.
  3. Add the dcast entry below under mcpServers (keep the servers already there), put your key in place of YOUR_DCAST_API_KEY and save the file.
  4. Go back to Manage MCP Servers and check that dcast is in the list of servers.
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "dcast": {
      "serverUrl": "https://api.dcast.pro/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_DCAST_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

Antigravity keeps the configuration for all your projects in ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json and the configuration of one project in .agents/mcp_config.json inside it. Put the DCAST entry into the file for all projects: the key stands in it as plain text, and a project file can end up in a repository. Never share this file or commit it.

Check the connection

Ask the Antigravity agent: "Show my DCAST live streams." It calls list_streams and answers with the live streams of your account. On a new account the list is empty, and that also means the connection works. If the server does not connect, check that the key was copied in full and is enabled in your DCAST API keys.

Access

Antigravity connects to DCAST with your Partner API key, and the key's own access level applies: a read-only key can only look, a standard key can also create and change, a full key can also delete. Create a separate key for Antigravity, so that you can switch it off without touching your other integrations.

To disconnect, disable or delete that key in your DCAST API keys. Antigravity then gets no further access.

Tools

Antigravity gets the same tools as the Claude connector: named tools for the common jobs (videos, uploads, embed codes, live streams, multistreams, rooms, playlists, statistics) and tools that find, describe and call every other documented Partner API operation.

Stream keys are hidden in every answer. The agent shows one only through reveal_stream_key, and only for your own stream, when you ask for it.

Example requests

  • "Add a live player and chat for my DCAST stream to the event page."
  • "Upload intro.mp4 to DCAST and put the video on the landing page."
  • "Write a webhook endpoint that marks a lesson as ready when its DCAST video has finished processing."
  • "Create a password-protected stream for our employees and show it on the intranet page."

What is sent

When the Antigravity agent calls a tool, the tool's arguments (for example a video title or a stream id) and your API key are sent to https://api.dcast.pro/mcp, which passes them to the DCAST Partner API. Nothing else from your conversation or your code is sent. Video files never go through the connector: an upload goes straight to the upload link DCAST gives, and an import is downloaded by DCAST from the link you provide.

Privacy

DCAST's privacy policy: https://dcast.pro/privacy. Your conversation in Antigravity is handled by Google under its own privacy policy.
