Analytics reports: CSV export, audit log and dashboard panels
The Analytics tab of the dashboard can hand you its numbers as files. STAR, PRO and VIP download an analytics report as a CSV file for any period, VIP also downloads the dated audit log of the account, and PRO and VIP choose which panels of the tab are shown. The same two reports are one API call, GET /analytics/export.csv.
Who gets what
- Analytics report (
section=analytics): STAR, PRO and VIP. On FREE the call answers403 REPORT_EXPORT_PLAN_REQUIRED. - Audit log (
section=audit): VIP only; any other plan gets403 AUDIT_EXPORT_PLAN_REQUIRED. In the dashboard a team member who works in someone else's channel does not see the audit button. - Dashboard panels: PRO and VIP.
In the dashboard
Open ANALYTICS in the dashboard. On STAR, PRO and VIP the top of the tab has a date picker (the last 30 days by default) and the button Export analytics CSV. On VIP the button Export account audit CSV sits next to it.
The file downloads at once and is named analytics-FROM-TO.csv or audit-FROM-TO.csv, with the first and last day of the period.
The period runs from the start of the first day to the end of the last day in your browser's time zone. A period longer than 366 days is refused.
If the export fails, the tab shows Could not save the dashboard or export the report. Check your access and try again.
Choose the panels (PRO and VIP)
On PRO and VIP the Analytics tab has the line Customize dashboard on this device with a checkbox for each panel: Storage & Hosting, Live time limits, Your content performance and Where your audience is. Clear a checkbox to hide the panel and tick it to show the panel again.
The choice is kept in this browser, separately for each channel, and is not shared with your other devices. It changes only what the tab shows, not the data or the exports.
If the account is on a plan below PRO, all panels are shown.
With the API
GET /analytics/export.csv answers with a CSV file (text/csv, sent as an attachment and not cached). It needs an API key that may read financial data: an Owner-class key (FULL_ACCESS scope) or the finance:read permission, as described in Authentication. These query parameters are optional:
fromandto: the period. Each is a date (2026-10-01; astoit means the end of that day, UTC), an ISO date-time or epoch milliseconds. By defaulttois now andfromis 90 days before it.tois never later than now, and the period may span at most 366 days.contentId: limit the analytics report to one of your videos or streams. The id of another account answers404 CONTENT_NOT_FOUND.section:analytics(the default) oraudit.
A failure comes as JSON with success: false and the code in error: INVALID_RANGE, INVALID_CONTENT or INVALID_SECTION (400), REPORT_EXPORT_PLAN_REQUIRED or AUDIT_EXPORT_PLAN_REQUIRED (403), CONTENT_NOT_FOUND (404), REPORT_SELECT_CONTENT or REPORT_NARROW_PERIOD (413: more than 10,000 pieces of content or audit events, so pick one contentId or a shorter period) and ANALYTICS_UNAVAILABLE (503).
What the analytics CSV holds
The columns are from_utc, to_utc, section, type, id, title, country, views, unique_viewers, currency, gross, fees, refunds, net and excluded_payments. Every row repeats the period, and section tells the kind of row:
content: one row for each video and stream, with itsviewsandunique_viewersin the period.country: the same numbers for each country that watched that content.revenue_total: gross, fees, refunds and net for the period, in USD. A report for onecontentIdhas no such row.revenue_content: the same four figures for each piece of content that earned money;typeshows the kind of sale.non_usd_payments_excluded: how many payments in other currencies there were. They are counted apart and never added to the USD figures.
The audit file has the columns from_utc, to_utc, event_id, occurred_at_utc, action, resource and success: one row for each audit event of your account in the period, oldest first.

Reading the same numbers without a file is described in Analytics. The dashboard walkthrough is in the help centre: Understand the analytics dashboard.
